After graduating from the prestigious University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 2003, Dr. William Kim completed an AEGD Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program at the Lutheran Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona in 2004.  From 2010 to 2013, he was part-time clinic instructor at the UCLA School of Dentistry.  Dr Kim has worked full time as a dentist for the past 20 years.  Dr. Kim grew up in Granada Hills, California and received Bachelor of Arts Degree from Columbia University in 1997.

William Kim, DDS strives to incorporate into his daily practice many of the advanced techniques that he learns from world-class dentist educators.  Dr. Kim had the good fortune of being mentored by one of the finest dentists in the world in Dr. Richard Stevenson III at Advanced Restorative Study Club of Los Angeles which live patient, hands-on study club that meets monthly in West Los Angeles.  Dr. William Kim has kept up-to-date with the latest and greatest dental techniques by taking the following superb 2014 Restorative Update courses at UCLA: Direct Composite Restorations, Indirect Ceramic Restorations, Removable Partial Dentures, Digital Dentistry and CADCAM Restorations.  Moreover, Dr. Kim is an avid viewer of dental instructional videos by world-class dentist educators like Dr. Ed McLaren,  (Cosmetic Dentistry), Dr. John Kois and Dr. Frank Spear (Prosthodontics), and Dr. Robert Loney (Removable Prosthodontics).  Dr. Kim's passion for high quality dental education has led him to create and curate DentalCoffee.com, a dental techniques education website for dentists.  Furthermore, Dr. Kim has completed the following dental implant courses: UCLA Implants A to Z, Hiossen/Osstem Hands-On  Live Patient Dental Implants Training Course and Zimmer and AB Dental Implant Courses.
